Nilanthe was the perfect driver for our trip -- always safe, punctual, courteous and helpful. We spent 10 days driving around mid and southern part of Sri Lanka in 2017. Mahesh was our driver the whole journey. And we could not be more happy. He is a super kind man, safe driver and a person you can trust completely. We must admit that we gave him some driving challenges since we had booked pretty remote accomodations. But that was no problem. He soon learned that we where a bit non main stream and didnt want any typical tourist track. We got some good memorable laughs. I have to say that our driver Mahesh was more like our friend from Sri Lanka than someone who takes us from point A to B. Sri Lankan roads have heavy traffic, it can be very chaotic and in a way some people drive I would say dangerous at times. His driving was so safe and comfortable that I was able to fully enjoy it. We had fun talking to him and learning more about people in Sri Lanka. Along the way he showed us some temples and viewpoints that we just didn't know about, and made a trip even more special. His English is great and he was helping us with locals when we wanted to buy fruits and other things along the road. thank You mahesh and Blue Elephant Tours
